Rev. Marius & Tabita Ianc
Rev. Marius his wife, Tabita, and their daughter joined our Eurovangelism partners in May 2008. They live and work in Jebel, in the Timisoara region of Romania. Rev. Marius was ordained in 1992 and has now been working in ministry since 1990. He has planted 8 churches in the past 17 years and this previous year he built an all purpose building for youth, senior and children's clubs in the Ciacova Village church. His main home church is Bethel Baptist in Jebel.
Rev. Marius has a passion for the Romanian people and their physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Marius works in a very poor part of Romania and the people he helps often have nowhere else to turn. It is a great ministry and testament to God's love that he is able to help people with their everyday needs of nourishment and warmth while also sharing the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
One of Rev. Marius greatest outreaches is to the local pastors and church planters within his region. These pastors need great guidance and support as they are often without training or means to do all that is needed. For many years he has hosted a yearly conference that brings the local church leaders together and helps them support, motivate, and share with each other. Rev. Marius is able to teach and lead these families as well as ordain new pastors for the many new churches that he has planted.
Prayer Request
-Wisdom and guidance in how to deal with the poverty cycle in Romania.
-That God would show himself to the Romanian people so that they may know Him.
-Wisdom for Rev. Marius as he leads many churches and pastors.
-Continual revival as new churches are being built, that they might be strong and firm in the Lord.
How You Can Help
-Romania is a poverty stricken country and often the churches cannot support themselves and rely on outside gifts to stay running.
-Building costs for new church and community buildings.
-Rev. Marius and his family are dedicated to ministry full time and need outside support to continue Gods work.
